“No two people have the same experience of classical music. Our interpretation draws on personal insights, memories and feelings. The challenge is to persuade more people to go to concerts and discover this for themselves.” ---Andrew Constantine.
After winning the Donatella Flick/Accademia Italiana Conducting Competition in 1991,
Andrew Constantine gained a reputation in Europe as a conductor of great skill, charisma, energy and versatility. In 2004, he moved to the US and quickly ascended to the post of Associate Conductor of the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra. Since then, he has continued to win great praise for his ability to communicate with audiences and his energetic and compelling advocacy for classical music.
Andrew Constantine is regularly engaged by the UK’s leading symphony orchestras including The Philharmonia, Royal Philharmonic, and London Symphony Orchestra. He was recently awarded the honorary degree of Doctor of Music by the University of Leicester along with the prestigious British NESTA Fellowship to further develop his international career. He is currently beginning his first season as Music Director of the Reading Symphony Orchestra in Pennsylvania.

Known for his astonishing versatility, Augustin Hadelich’s articulate playing establishes him as a commanding unique voice among a new generation of violinists. His mastery of Baroque, Classical, Romantic, and Contemporary repertoires won him the Gold medal at the 2006 International Violin Competition of Indianapolis. His first place prize package included a four-year loan of the 1683 ex-Gingold Stradivari violin and Tourte bow.
Born in Italy in 1984, Augustin Hadelich’s first teacher was his father, an agriculturist by profession, as well as an accomplished pianist and cellist. Mr. Hadelich went on to obtain his undergraduate degree (summa cum laude) from the Instituto Mascagni in Livorno, Italy, and his graduate diploma from The Juilliard School. In 1999, Mr. Hadelich almost lost his life in a fire at his family's farm in Italy. His successful return to the concert stage after months of painful recovery is a testament to his remarkable talent and indomitable spirit.
The 2007-2008 season marks Mr. Hadelich’s professional recording debut with three orchestral CDs: the complete violin sonatas of Telemann paired with the complete violin concerti of Haydn for Naxos, the Tchaikovsky Concerto with the Saarbrücken Radio Orchestra under Christoph Poppen, and a recital CD with pianist Robert Kulek on the award-winning label AVIE. This January, Augustin Hadelich will make his Carnegie Hall orchestral debut, and his Carnegie Hall solo recital debut is scheduled for March 28, 2008 in Stern Auditorium.
