 Now in his thirteenth season as Music Director of the Bozeman Symphony Orchestra and Symphonic Choir, Matthew Savery enjoys a rapidly expanding reputation for his multi-faceted career as an electrifying performer, dedicated orchestra builder, and charismatic teacher.
In addition to his duties with the Bozeman Symphony, where his innovative family and children's programming earns consistent praise and sold-out houses, Savery regularly offers Montana schools a "Conductor in Residency" program, serving as a competition adjudicator and an in-school clinician. Matthew Savery’s current season is highlighted by debuts with the Naples Philharmonic Orchestra and the Lafayette Symphony Orchestra.
A native of Western Massachusetts, Savery graduated from the New England Conservatory of Music and received his Master of Music Degree from the University of Michigan, while completing a teaching assistantship at the prestigious studio of Gustav Meier. Savery is also a recipient of the Eugene and Sadie Power Award for the Performing Arts.

Horn soloist Eric Ruske has established himself as an artist of international acclaim as well as a greatly demanded teacher and clinician. Named Associate Principal Horn of The Cleveland Orchestra at the age of 20, he also toured and recorded extensively during his six-year tenure as hornist of the Empire Brass Quintet. His impressive solo career began when he won the 1986 Young Concert Artists International Auditions. His numerous soloist performances include appearances with the Baltimore Symphony, the Indianapolis Symphony, the Cleveland Orchestra, and a tour with the Israel Chamber Orchestra.
In addition, Ruske has taught internationally at the Royal Academy of Music in London, the Central Conservatory of Music in Beijing, the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama in Glasgow, the Tokyo College of Music, and the Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia in Rome, along with master classes at over 100 universities and conservatories in the US.
In February, 2007 Mr. Ruske released his fourth solo recording on the Albany Records label, a collection of unaccompanied horn repertoire entitled Just me and my horn. He currently at teaches at Boston University.
